Event Details

The Purdue University Asian American and Asian Resource and Cultural Center (AAARCC) welcomes the lunar new year with a celebration on Saturday, February 12. The day’s program will feature activity tables from student organizations and campus partners, performances and two guests: Katherine Ho, known for her Mandarin cover of Coldplay’s “Yellow” in the film Crazy Rich Asians, which topped Spotify’s Global Viral 50 chart and has garnered over 20 million streams across all platforms, and Joanna Ho, a San Francisco–area high-school vice principal and the New York Times bestselling children’s book author of Eyes that Kiss in the Corners.

Protect Purdue Guidelines
Based on Protect Purdue recommendations, face masks are required and must be worn correctly in all indoor spaces for everyone on the Purdue University campus, including students, employees and visitors, regardless of vaccination status. Event organizers will strictly enforce the mask rule. While campus is still open to general visitors, Protect Purdue recommends that only members of the Purdue community attend this event and that unvaccinated minors who cannot wear masks at all times do not attend. Virtual livestreaming option is available at https://tinyurl.com/PurdueAAARCC-2022LNY.
