SUMMARY:Dunes Lit Fest
DESCRIPTION:Valparaiso University and Porter County Public Library invite you to attend the inaugural Dunes Lit Fest. This community event will celebrate reading\, writing and creativity by highlighting national award-winning and local children’s authors on the main stage. Families of all ages are welcome! \n\nMeet national award-winning and local authors (see author list below)\nDance to ScribbleMonster’s jams during the lunchtime concert\nBrowse vendor booths\nEnjoy tasty treats from local food trucks\nParticipate in exclusive book signings\nGrab a picture with Valparaiso University’s mascots\, Beacon and Blaze\nEngage in an interactive StoryWalk®\nParticipate in a book swap\n(Bring a gently used book and trade it out for a different story—children’s books only\, please. Don’t have a book to trade in? That’s okay—every child leaves with a free book.)\n\nSchedule\nAll scheduled events take place on the main stage on the West Lawn at Valparaiso University. Each author will be available for book signings for 30 minutes directly following their scheduled session.
