SUMMARY:Arab Indianapolis film screening and discussion (Indianapolis)
DESCRIPTION:Arab Indianapolis: A Hidden History\, an official selection of the 31st annual Heartland International Film Festival\, features IUPUI professor and historian Dr. Edward E. Curtis IV as he explores stories of Arab Americans across Indianapolis through food\, health\, religion and more. Following the screening of the hour-long film\, a community discussion will be facilitated by Dr. Lacey Davidson\, Director of the Center for Ethics at UIndy. Dr. Davidson will be joined by Josh Chitwood\, Sara Hindi and Arwa Ghalawan. \nThis event is free and open to the public and will be held in UIndy Hall A in the Schwitzer Student Center\, located at 1400 Campus Dr\, Indianapolis\, IN 46227. \nThe University of Indianapolis campus stands mere minutes away from places where Arab communities flourished and is therefore an important host for this conversation.
