SUMMARY:The Story of the Buffalo Trace Teacher Workshop
DESCRIPTION:This fall\, Indiana’s Historic Pathways hosts its ninth-annual teacher workshop. Geared toward third-\, fourth- and fifth-grade teachers (and open to interested members of the public)\, the workshop will introduce the story of Indiana’s unique Buffalo Trace through speakers\, lesson plans and a teacher panel that will discuss innovative classroom learning ideas. \nTopics and Speakers \n\n“Buffalo Trace”—David Ruckman\, title boundary surveyor and author of Buffalo Trace: The Indiana Wilderness Road\n“The Role of Fire”—Dan McGuckin\, certified forester\n“Surveyor’s Snapshot of Indiana in the 1800s”—A.J.
