This group meets monthly in Indianapolis to talk about recent popular science books. A local scientist whose research relates to the book topic joins to share insights and help guide the conversation. \nApril’s book selection is Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom\, Scientific Knowledge and the Teaching of Plants by Robin Wall Kimmerer.\n \nAll events are free and open to the general public. Discussions also feature one or more guest scientists or scholars with expertise relevant to the book of the month.
