Dubois County hosts traveling exhibit

Want a taste of the Hoosier state’s food culture? Then head to the Dubois County Museum. The Food for Thought traveling exhibit is visiting Dubois County now through May 4, 2011.

In addition to hosting the exhibit, several community programs will be held at the museum.  April 16 – 17 Heritage Days attendees can learn how to make butter, listen to a panel on agricultural equipment and enjoy local, grilled bratwursts and hot dogs. Nursing homes from 10 surrounding counties plan to visit the exhibit April 19, April 28 and May 3. Devour the flavors and stories behind Dubois County at the A Taste of Dubois County potluck May 1. Community stories will be read and shared to celebrate the culinary traditions of the community alongside some of Dubois County’s tastiest dishes.
