The Humanities Action Fellowship is a new program for early-career humanities professionals who are passionate about using the humanities to make their communities better. Over the course of 18 months, fellows will participate in a statewide cohort and will design and implement humanities-based programs that respond to community needs.
Humanities Action Fellows will receive stipends of $7,500 (paid out in three installments over 18 months) and have access to up to $5,000 to support, initiate or highlight public humanities activity in their local regions during their fellowship. Indiana Humanities will select six to eight fellows to join the first cohort for 2019-2020.
Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, May 3.
