SUMMARY:PBS's THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION Screening (Syracuse)
DESCRIPTION:Syracuse Public Library is partnering with PBS Michiana to present a special screening of the “American Revolution” documentary\, directed by Ken Burns\, Sarah Botstein\, and David Schmidt. It explores the founding of the U.S.\, focusing on the rebellion of thirteen colonies\, the eight-year war for independence\, and the creation of a new government\, with a special emphasis on diverse perspectives\, including women\, Native people\, and Black Americans. \nThe library will host the Spirit of Service reel. Join this screening from 3-4:30 p.m. Saturday\, June 27\, in the library’s downstairs meeting room. \nCorporate funding for THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION was provided by Bank of America.
