“Our elemental amazement: soil, body, star. We are
obliged to look.”- Jessica Reed, World, Composed
Inspired by her background in physics, Hoosier poet Jessica Reed’s new poetry collection, World, Composed, features science-themed poems that share her infectious love for the natural world and scientific knowledge. Reed’s work is a perfect fit for Quantum Leap, Indiana Humanities’ two-year exploration of the intersection of the humanities with science, technology, engineering, math and medicine.
Join us at Cinema Center in Fort Wayne for a poetry reading followed by a Q+A with Jessica Reed. Book signing to follow. Complimentary drinks and snacks will be available.
This special Quantum Leap-inspired event is presented in partnership with Cinema Center.
