Laura Bates developed and delivered the world’s first Shakespeare program in a supermax prison, and she chronicled her experiences in her book Shakespeare Saved My Life: Ten Years in Solitary with the Bard. She’ll discuss her work as part of Indiana Humanities’ Novel Conversations Speakers Program, sponsored by The Glick Fund, a fund of the Central Indiana Community Foundation.
