What would you like to see happen in the Region and across the state in the upcoming decades? The Northwest Indiana Times invites you to share your thoughts at a series of Indiana Next conversations planned for Lake, Porter and LaPorte counties this year. These civic reflection conversations aim to bring Hoosiers together by helping people and communities reflect on their engagements with the surrounding community.
This month’s Indiana Next conversation will take place at Dyer Town Hall in Dyer, IN and will cover the topic of Transportation. Sessions will begin with a bit of history about the topic, then developed with your ideas for Indiana Next. All conversations in this series — set to run through November — will be facilitated by students with the Center for Civic Reflection at Valparaiso University.
This conversation is co-sponsored by the Dyer Historical Society. To register, contact Kathy Powers of the historical society at firstname.lastname@example.org or (219) 865-6108.
