Next Indiana Campfires: Conner Prairie (Adults Only Trek)
Event Details

On this adults-only trek, we’ll head out over the prairies that first drew Native Americans and white settlers to this bend along the White River. Together we’ll consider how this important water way connects us to the past and with other communities in the watershed today. Our trek will conclude a campfire meal and Upland Beers around a bonfire.

Each trek is co-led by a humanities scholar and a naturalist. Along the way, we stop to read short writings by Indiana nature writers. Each trek concludes with a shared meal and discussion around a campfire.

Your ticket price includes a campfire meal, Upland Brewing Co. beers and snacks from Bloomington’s Everyday Adventure Treats, in addition to any entrance or rental fees associated with the trek.

  • A limited number of free tickets are available based on need, please contact Leah Nahmias at lnahmias@indianahumanities.org.
