The Indianapolis Special Collections Room (ISCR) at the Indianapolis Public Library houses collections of local archival materials, including books by local authors, photographs, scrapbooks, manuscripts, letters, newspapers and magazines. As part of its public outreach, the ISCR also hosts a quarterly program featuring a local historian who presents original research on historical topics related to Indianapolis and Indiana. In today’s program, Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites Curator of Social History Kisha Tandy will share artifacts representing African American history at the Indiana State Museum and will bring Indiana history to life in an exciting way!
This event is being held as an online meeting/webinar. Those who register will be emailed login instructions approximately 24 hours before the event.
This program received support from an Indiana Humanities Action Grant.
