
Novelist and short-story writer Dan Chaon, author of Ill Will and finalist for the National Book Award, will deliver the inaugural Ray Bradbury Visiting Writer Lecture. He will speak about the legacy of Ray Bradbury, talk about his unusual childhood mentorship-by-mail with Bradbury and read briefly from his Bradbury-influenced work.
The inaugural Ray Bradbury Visiting Writer Lecture is sponsored by Indiana Humanities (through a Humanities Initiative Grant) in conjunction with the Center for Ray Bradbury Studies, the IUPUI English Department, the Reiberg Reading Series and the IUPUI Arts and Humanities Institute.
The program takes place in the Basile Auditorium of the Herron School of Art and Design, 735 W. New York St., Indianapolis.
