Marion County Historical Society president Dr. William McNiece and treasurer Bill Beck will discuss the transformation of information dissemination in Indianapolis during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, including the introduction of high-speed newspaper presses, linotype machines and stereographic equipment.
The event will take place at the Central Library’s Nina Mason Pulliam Special Collections Room on the sixth floor.
