The Writers Guild of Bloomington’s Deep Dialogue program consists of four workshops, each focusing on a contemporary poet whose writings explore race, history, community and healing. During each workshop, participants will read out loud, contemplate and discuss themes. This workshop, the first, explores Immigrants in Our Own Land and Selected Early Poems by Jimmy Santiago Baca.
