Black History in Indiana
Explore the history of African Americans in the Hoosier State and learn about Jackson County's efforts to preserve and promote its own black history
Event Details

Join Dr. Richard B. Pierce of the University of Notre Dame as he speaks about Indiana’s African American history. Ron Duncan, a member of the Lynn Street Colored School Center of Goodwill Committee, will talk about black history in Jackson County, focusing on efforts to restore the Lynn Street Colored School building and turn it into a museum.
