
On the weekend of September 17 and 18, Indiana’s bicentennial torch relay will pass through the town of Madison, and the Lanier Mansion State Historic Site will celebrate with two days of festivities. Activities include a picnic and concert, an exhibition of traditional Indiana art, and storytellers highlighting local connections to Mary Todd Lincoln as well as the history of the town’s steamboat era.
This event received funding from a Humanities Initiative Grant.
