The Johnson County Public Library welcomes Tomi Adeyemi as the next author in its 2019 Authors at JCPL series. Adeyemi is the New York Times best-selling Nigerian-American author of Children of Blood and Bone and the newly released Children of Virtue and Vengeance. After graduating from Harvard University with an honors degree in English literature, she received a fellowship to study West African mythology, religion and culture in Salvador, Brazil. When she’s not working on her novels or watching BTS music videos, she can be found blogging and teaching creative writing on her website.
The first 50 JCPL cardholders at the door will receive a free copy of Children of Virtue and Vengeance. After the talk, Adeyemi will hold a meet-and-greet and sign books (books will be available for purchase at the event).
