Join us for a FREE evening of warm arts and cultural conversation and a soup supper at City Center in downtown Rushville. Kevin McKelvey is a place-based writer, poet, designer, social practice artist and associate professor at University of Indianapolis. He will begin with a look at Hoosier writers and artists and lead us through an exercise to identify our own cultural and historical assets. By the end of this hands-on experience, Kevin will help us think about and plan for ways to infuse art and cultural activities into our existing sense of place. This workshop is part of the Indiana Humanities INseparable program.
Street parking is available. There are lots across Main Street and behind the City Center Building as well. The event will take place on the second floor. Take the stairs or elevator, go past the reception desk. The room will be in front of you. To plan for food, please RSVP to Lisa, firstname.lastname@example.org.
