
This session, part of Indiana University Northwest’s Senior University, will offer information on the campus’s Calumet Regional Archives. Participants will learn about the types of records sought/preserved, about preservation techniques, and how to access materials.
This program received funding from an Indiana Humanities Action Grant.

Admission: Senior University is open to all northwest Indiana seniors, ages 55 and up.
Fee: All Senior University events are free of charge.
Registration: Registration is required and can be completed by contacting the Center for Urban and Regional Excellence via email at curesu@iun.edu or by phone at (219) 980-6907.
Venue: All events will take place on the Indiana University Northwest campus (3400 Broadway, Gary, IN 46408). Detailed event location will be provided at the time of registration.
Parking Permits: Visitor parking permits can be purchased at the IU Northwest Parking Permit Kiosks for a fee of $2 per day (exact change and credit cards accepted). Visitor parking permits are also required for disability parking spaces. Kiosks are located in parking lot 2 (north side of IUN), in front of the John W. Anderson Library, and in parking lot 13 (near the Arts & Sciences building). Parking permits are not required for workshops that run on Fridays.
