Head to the Central Library’s atrium for a free screening for the Academy Award nominated documentary “13th” by director Ava DuVernay. This public screening will be followed by a panel discussion facilitated by Dr. Ivan Douglas Hicks with experts Dr. James Kilgore, Dr. Terri Jett, Dr. James Dix, III, and Marshawn Wolley. The audience is invited to be part of a public conversation about the impact of mass incarceration on Indianapolis communities.
