Like you, we enjoy thinking, reading and talking. Like you, we believe that the humanities are essential to our lives and that greater access to history, literature, philosophy, etc., creates stronger, more thriving communities.
That’s why we create engaging humanities programs and why we help others do so as well, in our role as grant-maker and partner.
It’s why, over the past five years we’ve distributed more than $340,000 in grants to 130 organizations in 60 Indiana cities and towns for humanities public programs and historic preservation education. Those grants have funded field trips to historic properties, literature workshops for teachers, documentaries, mobile apps and more.
And, it’s why we need your support today.
Indiana Humanities is the only organization that delivers the humanities to Hoosiers all across the state. By supporting Indiana Humanities, you can ensure that Hoosiers have access to free, public programs dedicated to encouraging critical thinking and discussion. You can give a one-time gift, become a patron (see below) or set up a recurring gift.
Not sure what we do? Learn a little bit more in the video below.
Help us transform lives and communities by taking the humanities to more places, and to more people, all across Indiana. Please give today and show your support for the humanities.
