Bronwen Fetters is the executive assistant and program associate for Indiana Humanities. She manages general operations across the office and provides help with the administration and development of Indiana Humanities programming. She also oversees patron communications and book shipments for Novel Conversations, our statewide lending library.
Previously, as marketing coordinator at Our Sunday Visitor Publishing in Huntington, Ind., Bronwen composed weekly promotional emails as well as wrote articles and product descriptions for the monthly catalog, Engage.
Bronwen is an active member of Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society and Alpha Chi National Honor Society, having served as chapter president for both organizations and as a member of the latter’s national council in 2014-2015. She also served as editor-in-chief of Huntington University’s literary magazine, Ictus, and as an assistant editor for an encyclopedia of American folklore. Her literary criticism has been published in several academic books and journals.
After spending the first few years of her life in Macau, China, Bronwen grew up in Huntington, Ind., where she stayed to complete her BA in English writing and literature at Huntington University. She currently serves on the HU Alumni Board.
Additionally, Bronwen holds a certification in teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL) and has taught English in China, Thailand and the states.
