Pilot ALL-IN in your school, share what you’ve learned & earn a gift card!

Hoosiers love a little competition, so we’re challenging teachers to incorporate ALL-IN into their classrooms and schools.

We’re looking for teachers to share their experiences with Indiana Humanities’ new digital competition and to tell us how ALL-IN inspires students and teachers to learn more about Indiana, connect with each other and make our state even better.

HOW YOU CAN PARTICIPATE IN ALL-IN

1) Go ALL-IN!

Build a lesson, a unit plan, or a school activity using the ALL-IN challenges. We’re open to all kinds of ideas, so be creative! Complete the challenges with your students and/or school community. Document your project with photos, video and quotes of students, teachers or parents in action.

2) Write a blog post.

In no more than 500 words, tell us what you did, how it went, what your kids thought, and what advice you have for other teachers who want to go ALL-IN. Share quotes from participants or excerpts of student writing. We love pictures, so send us 2-3 photos too! Feel free to share examples of lesson plans, writing prompts, or other materials you create. We’ll post blog entries on our website.

3) Share with us!

Send your blog posts, photos, and any materials to Leah Nahmias, 317-616-9798, lnahmias@indianahumanities.org.

4) Earn prizes!

Teachers who go ALL-IN and share blog posts by the end of the school year will earn a $25 Amazon gift card to use for books or supplies for their classrooms. We’ll double the prize to $50 if you complete the challenge and blog post by January 31!

More fun ideas beyond the classroom…

* Work with student clubs to host an ALL-IN fair, assigning different groups to run booths for each challenge. Invite other students, invite the whole community!

* Incorporate ALL-IN into your next in-service day for staff. Challenge grade level or subject area teams to compete against each other.

* Work with the PTO to encourage parents to complete ALL-IN challenges with their kids.
